The 2010 Bob Libby Award goes to Andrew Merlino!

This is a special award given out each year by the NEHC in memory of Bob Libby. Bob Libby was a young man who's life was tragically cut short in early 2010. At that time, Bobby Libby was one of the most talented up-and-coming RC Heli pilots in the northeast region and was looking forward to competing with the top RC pilots in the country. Not only did Bob have raw talent and huge potential for the sport, but Bob would also unselfishly & enthusiastically help others excel in their hobby. This award will be given out to a special person each year that embodies the Talent, Passion, Drive, Generosity of Spirit to others & to the hobby that Bob possesed.
