2nd Annual NEHC 2010 Scale Fun Fly
Saturday June 12th and Sunday June 13th, 9am - 5pm
The second annual Scale Heli Fun Fly at the NEHC field in Mansfield, MA has been scheduled for Saturday June 12 and Sunday June 13, 2010. The event will start at 9:00am each day and go until late afternoon.
A pilots fee of $10 covers you for the whole weekend. Proof of AMA membership is required.
Like last year, this fun fly will be a low key event. There are no competitions planned. Just bring your fleet of helicopters and enjoy a full weekend of relaxed flying with the scale crowd.
Scale helis will have exclusive access to the 5 flight stations on the primary field. 3D flyers at the club who want to fly that weekend will have use of the secondary field. The secondary field is the one that we used for the scale event at the Phenom in 2009.
The field has power stations that supply 12v DC and 120v AC suitable for charging our large LiPo flight packs.
Like last year, we'll be grilling food at the field, which will be available for reasonable prices.

Winter 07-08 Local Indoor Fun Flies
Raja found a great new location at the Franklin High School Field House and decided to host it himself. The location is huge and they were a lot of fun.
1st Crew Day
We had our first "Crew Day" on Saturday August 11th 2007. We had a great turn out with some great flying.
There was an informal member meeting so that we could all get to know each other and discuss issues and suggestions.
Open House on June 10th 2007 a success
The open house that we had on June 10th was a great success.
While we didn't do it to raise money we were able to break even with the pizza and snacks we sold.
We had many people join that day and even more take an app and join later.
